The second to last night of regular season play in the IBHL, June 21st, has teams jockeying for playoff positions.

Despite having a short bench the Lockyer lads were able to scrounge up a win and keep hold of 3rd place in the standings, while Gold stayed in 5th. Lamp lighters for Lockyer were Cody Gibson from Kelvin Young, Gibson from Tyler Fell & Wendle Simpson, Fell from Andy Williams, and Chris McCron from Kyle Young. Gold’s go to guys were Ryan Slack from Tyler Richards & Joey Jacome, and Mie Ip from David Burke & Andrew McClure.

In a tight 1st period both teams stayed relatively even, it wasn’t until the second that Foot Clinic flew down the floor and put up the big score. Foot Clinic flyers were Andrew Muir, Cooper Bertrand, Mitch Banks, Ryan Faris & Jarod McIlhargey. Assists were from Chase Palmerio, Bertrand, Banks, Josh Horvath, Austin Tremblay, Faris & Muir. Link’s luggers were Rob Doyle from David Dlugozima & Brendan Dafoe, Dlugozima from Dafoe, and Dafoe from Dlugozima & Doyle.

The short benched Carney crew tried to keep up with the Pro Net power, but fell short when they ran out of steam. Carney’s lone lamp lighter was Mark Ebsary from Travis Cassar & Kristi Bhogal.
