Inglewood Ball Hockey League 2024 is underway with week one having some great games with new teams, returning faces, new team sponsors and a new feature with player of the night sponsored by Firehouse Subs Bolton.

In a rematch of last season’s championship game Adcro were able to best Foot Clinic in the first game of the night with Pratyush Bhandari potting both for the win, helped by Chris Della Mora, Manveer Lota, Simran Mahal & Kultran Singh. Foot Clinic’s flexor was Matthew Jaques from Koen Heinrich.

Game 2 saw newcomers playing under the Gusto sponsorship lead by Carlo Luciani, showed that they came to play with a decisive win over Bolton Toyota. Gusto go to guys were JP Soares, Josh Soares (with 2), Lawson Ramsay, and Joshua DaCosta (with 2), assists came from the sticks of Carlo, Marcello & Nick Luciani, Josh & JP Soares, Daniel Wall, & Hayden Ramsay. Bolton Toyota’s lamp lighter was Anthony Mellace (unassisted).

In the first shut-out of the season Noah Colavita was able to turn away all shots and get the goose-egg for the win. Rocky’s rockets were fired by Chris Cola from Nick Barbosa & Joey Barbosa, Steve Luongo from Franco Zuccato & Nick DeFazio, and Jordan Burke from Cola.

In a tight match that saw both teams short-benched, Riverdale was able to out muscle Salisbury and garner the victory. Net nabbing for Riverdale were Mark Ebsary (2g,2a), Brennan Ciccotelli (1g,1a), Michael Sampson (1g,1a), Owen Adams (1a), David Provanzano (1a), & Luca Triolo (1a). Salisbury snipers were Tyler Grant (1g), Brayden Charlton (1g,2a), Joey Jacome (1g), & Ryan Slack (1a).
