Fantastic games, tight battles, poor judgement, hot tempers, and some big scores were on the plate for the IBHL on July 25th.

Riverdale Fitness Mill   5
Bolton Toyota               1
In a game that showed some great action and skilled play at both ends, Riverdale’s youth and speed was just a little much for the short-benched Toyota crew. At the end of the 1st period neither team was able to find the back of the twin tent and they went into the 2nd knotted at 0’s. Period 2 saw Riverdale explode for three in 3 minutes with Andrew McClure netting a pair & Owen Adams potting one with assistance from Tyler Grant, Tyler Richards & Adams. In the third David Burke went end to end and put it in for Toyota and brought them back into the game. With less than 3 minutes left Sean Cromack from Grant & McClure tied the period, and in the dying seconds Grant from McClure & Troy Smith snagged the win of the period for Riverdale.

Adcro Group Ltd              9
Carney Plumbing            0
The last one of the night saw the Adcro aces take full advantage of the extra short-benched Carney crew and get the shut-out win for Johnathan Crocetti. The Carney crew played their best with the limited resources and held Adcro off the board until the dying minutes of the 1st frame when Sebastian Geraci from Chris Della Mora & Connor Catenaro from Geraci & Fraser Neal got in behind Giancarlo Malanca to take the period. After that Carney had run out of steam and Adcro got on the board with Manveer Lota, Geraci, Aman Gill, Emile Ferlisi, & Della Mora with goals & Simran Mahal, Kultran Singh, Gill, Neal, Geraci, Catenaro & Dave Phillips getting assists.
